Return to What Matters Most

Back to the Father
This is space for men who lead to quiet the noise, encounter God, and realign their identity before returning to what they carry. Because what you carry flows from who you become.

About

The Intensive

SoulMate is a space to return—together.

Not away from your marriage, but back into it.
Back to God.
Back to the heart of why you chose each other in the first place.

This retreat is for couples who love Jesus, are committed to one another, and can feel that life has gotten loud. Busy. Full. Good in many ways—yet thinner than it should be.

SoulMate isn’t about fixing what’s broken.
It’s about tending what matters.

When couples slow down together—without pressure, without performance—something begins to shift. Conversations deepen. Defenses soften. Laughter comes easier. God feels closer, not because He moved, but because there’s finally room to notice Him again.

This is a re-centering.
A shared pause.
A chance to step out of responsibility and back into presence—with the Father and with each other.

What This Retreat Is About

At its core, SoulMate is about alignment.

Not alignment as an idea—but alignment you can feel.

Alignment with the Father, so faith becomes lived again, not just discussed.
Alignment with each other, so marriage feels like partnership instead of management.
Alignment with the life you’re building, so success doesn’t quietly cost you intimacy.

Over these days, we create space for couples to worship together without rushing, to have guided conversations that actually go somewhere, and to enjoy unstructured time simply being together again.

There is intention, but not pressure.
There is teaching, but it’s grounded and invitational.
There is depth, without heaviness.

You’ll be given room to listen—to God, to one another, and to what your hearts have been trying to say beneath the noise.

The Setting: Apple Blossom Resort

Apple Blossom Resort sits tucked into the quiet beauty of southwest Michigan’s Harbor Country—far enough removed to feel set apart, close enough to feel accessible.

Surrounded by nature and intentionally free from distraction, the setting does some of the work for you. It slows the pace. It softens the edges. It invites you to breathe.

The property includes three thoughtfully designed homes spread across 18 private acres, with shared gathering spaces alongside quiet corners meant for reflection. There are places to come together, and places to step away. A heated pool, hot tubs, fire pits, outdoor dining, walking space—room to rest and room to reconnect.

This isn’t a hotel stay.
It’s a shared home environment—designed to support presence, conversation, and stillness.

Close to Lake Michigan and the charm of Union Pier and New Buffalo, yet secluded enough to feel like a true retreat.

Who is this for?

For couples who want more than surface-level faith and routine marriage. For those who desire deeper intimacy with God, stronger connection with each other, and relationships with other couples who take marriage seriously.

How is it designed?

This retreat is designed to remove distraction and create space to listen.

Through worship, time in nature, honest conversation, and moments of solitude, couples are invited to slow down and hear from God together. The rhythm is unhurried, allowing clarity to emerge and Christ’s presence to become more evident—both personally and within the marriage.

Why should you apply?

Because marriage was never meant to be sustained on autopilot.

This experience creates space for you and your spouse to slow down, reconnect, and return to God together. Not to learn formulas, but to listen. Not to fix each other, but to draw closer—to the Father and to one another.

SoulMate invites couples into a posture of surrender, where clarity can surface and intimacy can deepen. It’s an opportunity to hear from the Lord again about your marriage, your family, and the life you’re building together.

If you’re longing for renewed connection, shared vision, and a deeper sense of purpose in your marriage, this may be a meaningful next step.
